Water

Water is "blue gold" for golf courses.  At Rosebud Country Club we have access to both recycled water and bore water.  We are "Always Green form Tee to Green".

We are fortunate that the main recycled water outlet that goes through to Gunammatta runs under our fairways.  This has given us all the water we need to keep our 4 courses and bowling greens in top condition. In addition we also have access to bore water.  This enables us to maintain our courses in excellent condition, even during a severe drought.  Anyone who played our courses, or bowled with us, during January to April 2007 can speak to the “excellent condition” of our courses and greens. Whether you are a visitor, or a member, you benefit through always having lush fairways, well manicured greens, tees and bowling greens.  

Many golfers may have played other courses that are not as fortunate.  They will have seen the water rationing first affect the fairways, then the tees and finally the greens.  Unfortunately for these clubs, it can take a long time for the courses to fully recover.

Thankfully, you will always be able to play on green courses at our club.
